MARAMI ang humanga sa Prince of Pop na si Erik Santos sa acting debut niya sa Maalaala Mo Kaya last Saturday.
Role niya ang isang OFW na nag-apply na singer pero naging housekeeper sa Venetian Hotel sa Macau.
Ito ang first starring role ni Erik at ikinatuwa niya nang husto ang mga magagandang feedback na kanyang natatanggap.
“I enjoyed my first-ever acting job. Hindi ako mas-yadong na-pressure dahil sa suportang ibinigay sa akin ng co-actors ko at staff ng MMK. Sobrang galing at bait din ni Direk Mae! Acting is like singing. You have to put the right amount of emotions and passion to be able to convey your character’s message to the public,” ani Erik.
Samantala, ang latest album niyang Erik Santos: The Jim Brickman Song Book, released under Star Records, ay patuloy na umaani ng papuri sa fans at music critics. Si Jim Brickman ang nag-produce ng album na naglalaman ng revivals at original compositions na sinulat ng world-class singer/composer.
